The "Global Heritage and Academic Excellence" course is designed for students in grades 6 to 12 who want to deepen their understanding of world cultures and enhance their academic skills. By exploring significant historical events and contributions of diverse cultures, particularly Black, African, and Middle Eastern histories, participants will develop a broader perspective that fosters academic success. The course includes interactive workshops that not only teach historical content but also integrate study skills and test preparation strategies for the ACT and SAT. Ultimately, students will find inspiration in global heritage while honing the academic tools needed to excel in their educational pursuits.
